HGV Technician

We are looking for an HGV technician to work for a leading vehicle maintenance company, with ongoing training opportunities available, working days, 4 on 4 off.

HGV Technician Duties

Working as an HGV technician in this role would involve:

·Vehicle inspection, service and repair
·Preventative maintenance
·Completion of MOT prep
·Correct completion of job sheets and associated documentation
·Adherence to H+S procedures

HGV Technician Requirements:

·Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanics
·Ability to problem solve around a vehicle and work under own initiative
·Basic electrical fault-finding skills as a minimum
·Experience working as a mechanic on commercial vehicles - Mercedes would be an advantage
·City and Guilds / NVQ Level 2 as a minimum
