SHIFTS

Monday – Friday Client is flexible with working hours
50 hours a week paid



My client is not a standard transport company. They are different! They are experts in providing a range of specialist logistics services, that are tailored to meet the unique needs of their client’s business.
They have 2 depots network has two main operating centres, Lancashire and Douglas, Isle of Man, and three “satellite” centres: Scotland, the West Midlands and Northern Ireland.
They operate a fully computerised transport management system with online vehicle tracking.
Over the last 15 years my client has gone from strength to strength and operate a fleet of 75 vehicles and more than 120 trailers.

Other duties within the role of an HGV Technician include:

·Completing paperwork and procedures relating to warranty, contract & retail work;
·Preventative maintenance work to minimise unnecessary customer costs;
·Any other duties reasonably within your capabilities as instructed by their Manager.
·The successful candidates will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
·Obtained a City & Guilds or other adequate qualification;
·Experience in the diagnosis, servicing, maintenance and repair of vehicles;
·Organised and methodical approach to problem solving with attention to detail;
·Undertaken manufacturers training courses and maintained knowledge of work methods and technical data;
·A friendly, confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills.
·Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a larger team as well as on their own initiative.


As a HGV Technician, you will be:

·Class 1 or 2 an advantage
·Level 3 qualification or above
·Trailer fitter experience
·Must have own tools
