Mobile HGV Technician

My client, one of the UK's leading Municipal Fleet Companies is looking to employ a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV Technician / HGV Technician / Municipal Technician to be Mobile in the Northamptonshire area.

EXPERIENCE ON REFUSE VEHILCES - RCVs, Scarabs and Road Sweepers is a Must for this role.


As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will:
·Ensure completion of mandatory scheduled inspections/calibrations
·Complete Planned Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on car, light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles to ensure ongoing compliance and road worthiness
·Complete supporting paperwork to a high and accurate standard ensuring full compliance
·Attend breakdowns and repairs as required to support operational delivery
Ensure the highest quality workshop/mobile service and repair on car, light, heavy and specialist commercial vehicles

To be successful in this role you will:
·Hold City & Guilds or equivalent qualification within the relevant field or ability to demonstrate an equivalent level of skill
·HGV Technician experience
·Knowledge of Health and Safety Management
·Basic computer skills
·HGV Driving Licence desirable
Winter maintenance experience desirable

This position is paid up to £50,000 and it is working on a day shift.
