(39 hours a week. Shift patterns & salary vary once probation period is over)

My client in the Lancashire are a family run business with 40 years’ experience in the commercial vehicle sector. They offer unrivalled expertise in trucks and support services

From their strategically located state-of-the-art premises in Preston they supply products from their superb range to meet every transport application. They are looking for a qualified HGV Technician
to join them due to expansion.

The HGV technician role involves:
·Repairing company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current legislation.
·Routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards.
·Preparation and presentation of vehicles and trailers for annual MOT inspection.
·Diagnosis of vehicles using computer based diagnostic equipment.
·Carry out re-chassis work and light fabrication work.
·Good housekeeping routines to meet H&S requirements.
·Ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard.
·Utilise all Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
·To communicate effectively with the Workshop Manager

Essential for this HGV Technician role:
·Level 3 or equivalent
·Class 2 licence
·Main dealer Experience an advantage
