HGV Technician

My client is looking for an HGV technician to join their busy team in Bradford. 

Your responsibility will include making sure all work is carried out to a high standard all and staff are performing in a professional manor and have work to carry out throughout their working day.
You will be working directly under the workshop controller in a brand-new state of the art fully heated workshop

The HGV technician role involves:

·Six weekly vehicle inspections.
·12 weekly trailer inspections.
·General servicing and pre-planned maintenance.
·Reactive maintenance as required
·MOT preparation / Presentation.
·Correction of running defects.
·Full vehicle overhauls / engine and gear box repairs
·Fault finding and Diagnosis
·Engine Rebuilds
·Working to VOSA standards

Criteria for this HGV Technician role

·Have a recognized motor vehicles apprenticeship (or equivalent).
·Ability to work in a fast paced environment
·Have extensive HGV mechanical engineering experience
·Have a clean LGV licence C + E would be an advantage although not essential.
