HGV Technician

Our client, one of the South West's largest Franchise Dealers is recruiting for a HGV Technician to join their workforce. You would be working for a forward thinking, success driven company.

You will have up to date experience, to service and repair customers HGV Vehicles. You will be able to recognise and diagnose any faults accurately.

As an HGV Technician you will be able to prepare vehicles and trailers to a consistent MOT standard. You should have a positive, can-do attitude.

You must be a fully qualified HGV Technician with either City & Guilds or NVQ qualification level 3 or time served and own tools. If you come from a Plant Mechanic background or a PSV Technician background, then my client would be interested in speaking with you

An HGV/LGV or ADR licence would be an advantage, but is not essential.

The role of HGV Technician is to work within the workshop dealing with repair and service of Commercial Vehicles within a timely manner and within industry standards.

It is a busy workshop so plenty of opportunity for overtime and this company actively encourages ongoing brand training and is constantly improving working environments. Excellent opportunity for a good HGV Technician who has a passion for the industry.

Monday-Friday standard 40-hour week on a rotating shift.
The shift for HGV Technician would be an early & late alternating, and an alternating Saturday paid at time and a half.
anything over 40 hours is paid at time and a half.

20 days holidays plus bank holidays.

Weekly bonus and quarterly productivity bonus.

The salary for HGV Technician is above average for the local area and has extra enhancements on top of the hourly rate. Salary is dependent on experience.
