Shift:

Monday - Friday 07:00 – 17:30
Saturday Mornings 08:00 – 12:00 (Paid at time and a half)


My client is one of the leading specialists in heavy freight and provides a general haulage service, heavy haulage service and escort vehicles to some of the largest Blue Chip Construction, Engineering, Plant Hire, Manufacturing and Demolition companies across the UK. They are looking for a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic  to join their site in Stockport.

The HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic main duties and responsibilities would include:

·Safety inspections
·Servicing
·MOT Preparation
·Diagnostics and Mechanical repairs to haulage vehicles plus trailers including low-loaders


Essential for this HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic role:

·Level 3 or equivalent
·Class 1 licence + CPC
·Own transport
·You must be willing to undertake breakdown call outs
·You must own your own tools
·Experience with 5 axle rear steer trailers
·Experience working on low loaders
