I am currently looking to recruit a number of driver valeter



AIM
To support the business unit / workshops, by the way of the collection and delivery of vehicles both to and from customers sites along with internal movements throughout our operating business units.
You will also be actively involved in the day to day vehicle movements/ valeting cleaning of vehicles for rental, again supporting the business unit function.
A vigilant close eye must be kept at all times when collecting / delivering vehicles to ensure that damage reports are strictly adhered to. You will work within the chosen take opera- rating hours to ensure delivery and collection of company vehicles are adhered to within the specified delivery windows, its also to ensure that all vehicles for delivery are valeted to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times. All defects must be reported via the reporting system and the workshop needs to be made aware. You will drive various vehicles from car’s vans to tractor units and municipal vehicles, to which again you will have an active part in taking vehicles for MOT.
All the above must be conducted with a smart professional appearance ensuring that customer service and customer care are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities
Customers
The key duties of the post are as follows
·Collection/ delivery of vehicles to Customer sites
·.Collection/ delivery of vehicles to other Gulliver’s Business units
·Filling out of relevant paper work correctly ensuring that the right check sheets are used for the right vehicle.
·Ensure that you have the Rental agreement signed by the customer at the time of delivery.
·Ensure Washing / cleaning of vehicles both in side and out are to a high standard.
·Ensure that on collection of vehicles that drivers fill out any defects that the vehicle has and report to the workshop along with the vehicle keys.
·Ensure a clear line of communication is maintained with the lead driver Workshop and the hire desk for vehicle availability
·Checking outgoing hire vehicles with customer ensuring check out sheet is accurately completed.
·Ensure that all that you have good control of damage reports and are vigilant in every aspect.
·Checking off hire vehicles for damage and fuel levels and ensuring check in sheet is accurately completed.
·Liaison with workshop and lead driver for MOT’s ensuring availability to take vehicle to MOT Station and carry out required duties. .
·Fuelling hire vehicles, to required and agreed levels.

·When vehicle is damaged ensure defect book is completed.

· Ensure that good communication with yard operative to vehicle Parking is adhered to.

·Ensure that you operate within accordance with your daily contracted hours.

Other Duties.
·De logo vehicles when required.
·Communicate with customers and other staff members.
·Awareness of yard security at all times

Health and safety aspects should be adhered to at all times, a good work ethic and attitude towards customers and work colleagues must be portrayed.
