My client hires both general and municipal vehicles and now has a nationwide fleet of 5,000 and a product range of over 80 various vehicle types and sizes. They are looking for a Fleet Management Compliance Controller to join them.

As a fleet management compliance controller, you will be ensuring that all fleet managed vehicles are compliant either within customer’s guidelines, legislations or manufacturers guidelines.

You will be booking jobs onto the in-house computer system and liaising with both our branch network and supply chain partners to ensure service delivery and that all works are undertaken cost effectively.

This is a high profile and very busy team that manage prestigious national contracts, so attention to detail and the ability to work in a busy environment is essential.

The candidate will have previous vehicle maintenance and/or compliance experience, in either a planning or operational role

The duties of the Fleet Management Compliance Controller will include:

·Operator & vehicle licence administration
·To ensure all job & systems data is recorded accurately and on a timely basis
·To ensure maintenance schedules and MOT appointments are agreed, accurate and supplied on a timely basis
·Act upon system reports and ensure discrepancies are highlighted
·To manage external service and parts providers ensuring appropriate repair methods are undertaken, replacement parts supplied are of the required standard and cost and to pro-vide assistance/advice to other colleagues
·Maintain effective response times in relation to call centre duties
·Offer front line customer support and advice following an enquiry
·Allocate calls and resources to ensure that all calls and tasks are attended by the appropriate Engineer in contracted/targeted timescales to comply with agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA's) and Organisational targets;
·Assist with monitoring engineer productivity through diligent matching of their availability and skill set against existing workloads;
·Cost control, balancing customer requirements with commercial awareness.

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

·CPC National would be an advantage
·Suitable industry qualifications/time served or demonstrable experience within the industry
·A good general level of vehicle knowledge
·Ability to control maintenance costs and challenge if necessary
·Business standard IT skills, including Microsoft Outlook
·Excellent communication and customer care skills
·A good standard of written and spoken English
·A tenacious, enthusiastic, and flexible disposition. Some prior experience with call handling/customer service, engineer allocation, customer management
·Good self-starter with the ability to multi-task
·Ability to work well under pressure in a call centre environment
