FLEET CO-ORDINATOR

Salary of the Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator

Salary : £22,000pa - £25,000pa

Working Hours – Monday to Friday

Location of the Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator – Erith

Our client is looking for an organised and energetic Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator to undertake the day-to-day co-ordination of Fleet Maintenance activities to ensure that all contracted maintenance vehicles are managed and maintained in line with client Service Level Agreements, manufacturers recommended maintenance schedules, and all current and pending legislation.

Supplier management is a key element of this role for the Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator, reviewing all estimates / quotation to ensure correct repair times, and parts costs and relevant discounts have been applied. 


Responsibilities of a Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator:

·Ensuring vehicles remain legally complaint at all times during operation.
·Client service levels are maintained to the highest standards
·Client updates are to be provided at regular intervals until completion of the vehicle and its returns to service (minimum once a day).  All emails will be responded to within 60 minutes.
·Manage suppliers to ensure rapid response and turnaround of Fleet, obtain regular updates (minimum once a day)
·All operational vehicles are maintained in a legal, & fully compliant condition to ensure maximum vehicle up time is achieved
·Schedule and confirm to clients vehicles appointments for Inspection, Service, Maintenance & Repairs, MOT Inspections and LOLER Inspections
·Ensure Vehicle breakdowns are actioned promptly & arrange replacement vehicle if necessary
·Ensure client recharges are completed for Vehicle damage (Mechanical / bodywork / fuel), Dart Charge, Congestion Charges, Parking Fines & Speeding Fines
·Obtain Estimates for all work to be carried out
·Health & Safety legislation is observed at all times


Skills and Qualifications of a Fleet Co-ordinator / Fleet Administrator / Workshop Administrator / Transport Coordinator / Transport Administrator:

·Experience in a similar role, automotive or commercial vehicles industry is essential.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a clear, confident and professional telephone manner
·Quick-thinking with the ability to work calmly and efficiently even when under pressure
·Be a good team player with the ability to prioritise and multi task in a fast moving environment.
