My client in the Gloucestershire area are looking for a Field Service Controller / Mobile Technician Controller / Fleet Maintenance Controller / Service Controller. This role ideally will require some technical knowledge or good knowledge of hours booked for work done, you would need to understand how long it will take for the field service engineers to repair and breakdowns and plan their day for them.

The Field Service Controller / Mobile Technician Controller / Fleet Maintenance Controller / Service Controller will have Key accountabilities of:

·Managing the Field Service Engineers / Mobile Technicians daily diaries
·Allocating work to Engineers
·Booking the hours for the Engineers ensuring they are not overbooked
·Schedule field service engineers to optimise resolution to breakdowns
·Manage call logging control systems or breakdowns and services
·Manage requirements from field service engineers and customers
·Take incoming breakdown calls and requests
·Raising jobs
·Keeping internal job tracker up to date
·Keeping customers up to date with breakdowns
·Organising and booking routine services
·Ordering parts as required for breakdown / routine services
·Respond to breakdowns and appoint engineers by identifying most cost effective solution whilst taking into account customers SLA's

Required for this Field Service Controller / Mobile Technician Controller / Fleet Maintenance Controller / Service Controller:

· Experience as a previous Service Controller or breakdown controller
· Previous knowledge of Commercial vehicle repairs
· Understanding hours booked for repairs
· An excellent communicator at all levels
· Team player with excellent work ethic
· Driven to succeed.
· Adaptable to change.
· Good at problem solving & able to organise work load.
