VDA – Vehicle Estimator required in Chippenham

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 + Bonus scheme and commission
Hours: 08:00 - 17:15 + Alternate Saturdays 08:00 - 12:30
Holiday: 22 days + bank holidays

Our client are looking for a Estimator to provide high quality estimates and work with both customers and work providers.

Are you an experienced vehicle estimator looking for a new challenge?
Are you comfortable negotiating costs with insurance engineers?

You will be dealing with everything from volume brands right through to high end prestige vehicles. This is a great opportunity to get on board with a highly successful Accident Repair centre with an enviable reputation for quality.

You will be required to collate estimates on body repairs to accident damaged vehicles using the Audatex computerised estimating system. You will calculate the time required to complete all necessary repairs and inform the body shop of the authorisation of additional work needed. Following completion of the estimates, you will be required to negotiate the repair costs with insurance engineers and provide a breakdown of the repair costs for the customer.

Essential Skills & Qualifications for Estimator role:

·Must have previous experience as an Estimator
·Ideally be ATA qualified and have an up to date Audatex certificate although this is not essential
