DIAGNOSTIC MECHANIC / | SENIOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN
BASIC SALARY UP TO £32,000 PLUS ACHIEVABLE OTE/COMMISSION UP TO 36,000pa

We are seeking an experienced and helpful LEVEL 3 - 4 DIAGNOSTIC MECHANIC / SENIOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN to join our happy, forward thinking friendly team!

A large part of the Diagnostic Mechanic / Senior Vehicle Technician position involves:

·As a Diagnostic Mechanic / Senior Vehicle Technician, you'll be responsible for all types of jobs such as complex diagnostic repair, service and maintenance of all kinds of vehicles ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards
·Understanding and fully experienced in diagnosing complex issues
·Full understating of electrical and warranty issues and how to resolve them
·Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
·Maintaining thorough and up-to-date product knowledge.
·Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
·Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work.
·Capable of providing a clear hand written description of the work carried out.

Qualifications and must haves for the Diagnostic Mechanic / Senior Vehicle Technician:

·Great attitude and be a team player
·Clear communicator, as need to explain and train younger vehicle technicians
·Level 3 - 4(NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification)
·Preferably with MOT but not essential

As the Diagnostic Mechanic / Senior Vehicle Technician - We expect you to demonstrate the following:

·Qualify, diagnose and find a solution for engine problem on new and old cars
·Help and assist other technicians by qualifying, diagnosing and finding a solution for engine problems
·An eye for detail.
·Ability to work under pressure
·Quality awareness.
·Communication skills
·Full driving licence
