Diagnostics vehicle technician for a main dealership based in Carlisle

Basic Salary: £26,000pa plus BONUS/OTE £30,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm / Alternate Saturdays 8.30am to 12.30pm

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Vehicle Technician or a qualified Diagnostics Technician position has risen for a busy dealership in Carlisle.

The job includes work that ranges from servicing to diagnostics. You must be able to work within a dealership environment as part of an effective team, with good technical skills and a calm working head. The right person for the role is professional, confident, and reliable. Also, to be able to show evidence of a minimum Level 3 qualification as a Vehicle Technician, including the motivation and enthusiasm to train and progress further. Will need experience in diagnosing complex vehicle faults.

The dealership will provide a great basic salary with excellent OTE opportunities and additional training with the goal to develop you to further technician skills, if you choose too. The workshop is team based and a positive, busy, working environment with a highly reputable dealership that enjoy progressing staff internally to train you further.

Skills and Qualifications of a Diagnostic Technician:

·Experience as a Diagnostic Technician at a dealership within the motor industry
·Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance Qualified (or equivalent)
·A desire to progress, improve and open to qualify further as a Diagnostic Technician
·2 years experience as a vehicle technician within the motor industry
