My client in Chester has over 20 dealerships nationwide and are looking for a Depot Manager to grow the busy and lead their service business, comprising of a dedicated truck work- shop
The role of a Depot Manager:
·Responsible for the day-to day running of the department
·Generating new service and aftersales business and for strengthening our relationships with our franchise partners
·Manage the Service department’s budget directly and assist the Regional Parts Manager in maximising the Parts resource on site
·Ensure financial objectives are met through control and measurement of key ratios and individual performance.
·Ensure we grow our business through better retention of existing customers and winning new business
·Selection and induction of new colleagues and development of new and existing colleagues, using our annual appraisal process.
·Ensure appropriate workshop controls are in place to meet the needs of our customers and our financial targets through monitoring of key performance indicators that drive Service department performance, such as zero warranty write-offs, zero aged WIPs, planned productivity and utilisation and planned recovery rates.
·Monitor colleague and customer satisfaction using survey output such that motivated trained colleagues deliver excellent customer service.
The successful candidate will have:
·A proven track record of management
·Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills
·Experience of Kerridge would be a distinct advantage, but not essential as training will be given to the right candidate.
