COMMERCIAL VEHICLE PAINT TECHNICIAN

Location: Sittingbourne

As our clients Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician, you will report to the Paint Shop Supervisor to support the services offered to our customers.

Their paint shop features two state of the art Titan CV spray booths which are equipped with LED, efficient extraction systems, and fully insulated roller shutter doors.

Duties as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician/HGV Paint Sprayer/Paint Sprayer will include:

·To prep and paint a variety of LGV & HGV commercial vehicles ensuring all work carried out is to the required standard and meets customer specification
·Be responsible for and ensure that all pre-defined production and pre-start checks are carried out and that all process paperwork is completed correctly and accurately.
·Carry out relevant preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment
·Setting up paint application equipment in the paint shop for all possible paint applications in accordance with best practice

Requirements as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician/HGV Paint Sprayer/Paint Sprayer will include:

·Experience as a painter, sprayer, panel beater and in strip and fit
·Effective communicator (verbal) with good customer service skills
·Experience within a Body shop, Dealership or Accident Repair Centre
·Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
·Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
·Good judgement.
