Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor Basingstoke

I am currently looking to recruit a commercial vehicle service advisor for a busy independent commercial garage.


What will be expected


·Inspection and Service Planning and reminders
·MOT Pre-Planning and Booking
·Tacho Pre-Planning and Booking
·Obtaining authorisation
·Job sheet Creation
·Dealing with customer enquiries
·Completion of training when necessary
·Working closely with and assisting the Service Manager in the performance of his duties
·Working closely with the Workshop Supervisors and Parts Department
·Cover for Service Manager as and when required
·Other service related and general duties required by management
Completion of training as necessary


Good workmanship is recognised and reported back by our customers and suppliers.
Paperwork should be accurate and complete.


Salary

will be depending on experience.

Holiday

20 days plus public holidays, then one extra day every year after 5 years service up to a maximum of 25 days.


Hours of work

Monday–Friday 08.00–17.30 with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and Saturday mornings on a rotational basis

Overtime

Overtime may be required but must be authorised by management prior to being carried out. Weekday overtime is unpaid. Saturday overtime will be paid at time and ½.
