LIGHT VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / COMMERCIAL VAN TECHNICIAN

Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician required for Main Dealership in Bromley

Basic Salary: £24,000pa - £28,000pa OTE £32,000pa

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm / Saturdays (1 in 3) 8am – 1pm

Our client, a highly reputable main dealership is looking for an experienced Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician with a strong skill set to join their growing team based in Bromley.

As a Light Vehicle Technician / Commercial Van Technician you will spend most of your time in the workshop maintaining vehicles to the high standards set out in the Health and Safety policy. Your main duties will involve carrying out inspections, repairs and services, checking vehicles against VOSA legislation, and handling and storing parts. You will also be required to ensure that all necessary Vehicle Health Checks are completed, and that paperwork is accurate and up to date, with all jobs completed within agreed time frames and that a high level of productivity is maintained.

Please note that you will be working on light commercial vehicles so any previous experience working in the commercial sector will be advantageous.

Vehicle Technician / Light Commercial Service Technician Skills & Qualifications:

·Level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair
·2 years minimum experience within an automotive workshop environment
(Main Dealership preferred)
·A team player who can adapt into a positive working environment
·Ability to work as part of a team and a genuine commitment to delivering first class customer service
·Desire and ability to deliver outstanding customer satisfaction results and to work to and achieve targets and objectives.
