My client is a large independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the North West for all makes and types of commercial vehicles and LCVs.

They have a reputation for quality and a 97% first time MOT pass-rate (above national average)

They are now looking to recruit a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic with a Class 1 licence to join their Birkenhead depot

Duties as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician / HGV Paint Sprayer / Paint Sprayer will include:

·Be responsible for and ensure that all pre-defined production and pre-start checks are carried out and that all process paperwork is completed correctly and accurately.
·Prep and paint a variety of LGV and/or HGV, coaches & plant
·Carry out relevant preventative maintenance tasks on all equipment
·Setting up paint application equipment in the paint shop for all possible paint applications in accordance with best practice

Requirements as a Commercial Vehicle Paint Technician / HGV Paint Sprayer / Paint Sprayer will include:

·Experience as a Commercial Painter, sprayer, prepping and in strip and fit
·Experience working with HGV / LCV / Plant / Coaches is essential
·Effective communicator with good customer service skills
·Experience within a Bodyshop, or Accident Repair Centre
·Valid driving license
·Experience with metallic paint is essential
·Painting trailer chassis's experience
