Coachbuilder

Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: £28,000pa up to £30,500pa more dependant on experience + OT

Working hours:
Monday to Friday 7:00am – 4:30pm + Overtime available and flexibility required

Our local engineering client are looking for Coachbuilders / Body Builder / Trailer / Welder fabricator / Welder to join their team, working on specialist commercial vehicle builds for a wide range of high profile clients.

Coachbuilder / Body Builder / Trailer / Welder fabricator / Welder responsibilities:

·Remove & refit structural parts
·MIG welding
·Aluminium welding (not essential)
·Body repairs including filler repairs
·Body building
·Fabricating
·Adherence to Health and Safety rules and regulations
·Responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping standards in own area.
·Reduce wastage by using raw materials and consumable items carefully.
·Assist the Company in caring for the environment by disposing of waste products correctly

Coachbuilder / Body Builder / Trailer / Welder fabricator / Welder experience:

·Experience of working on commercial vehicle bodies would be an advantage for this role
·Metalwork or light mechanical fitting experience
·Experience working with vehicles or in an engineering environment would be an advantage
·A trainee with transferable skills will be considered for this role
