COMMERCIAL VEHICLE BODY REPAIR TECHNICIAN

£19,000 - £24,0000 (DOE) Monday – Friday / 40 hours a week

Commercial Vehicle Body Repair Technician required for a thriving body shop located in Manchester.


·Are you confident in your ability to carry out body repairs, welding and fabrication on light vans, refuse collection vehicles and refrigerated trailers, to plant machinery, hydra carts and 44 ton articulated trucks?
·Are you looking for a new opportunity to join a successful body shop in Manchester?


This is an opportunity for a body repairing technician to really make it their own position in helping to support the company in driving the business forward through supporting the body shop and the service team.

You will need to be fully experienced in the field as you will be working on complete repairs, as well as helping your team if needed.


Essential skills & qualifications for the Commercial Body Repairer:
·Fully conversant with the latest repair methods and techniques required to rectify all types of body damage and accident repairs.
·A qualification in welding & fabricating, or a proven successful history.
·Proven ability and experience in a commercial body shop.
·Confident in: stripping/fitting, replacing & repairing damaged vehicles.
·Be able to work with minimum supervision.
·Reading job cards and technical drawings.
·Using various air tools (grinders, drills, etc).
·Be able to competently use small hand tools.
·Ability with panel replacement and body filling.
·Chassis alignment an advantage.
·Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
·IRTEC.
