AUTO ELECTRICIAN

Experienced Auto Electrician required for a thriving workshop, located in Manchester.

£33,280. (15 month Fixed Term Contract starting February 2019).
 
My client offers a comprehensive range of commercial vehicles, buses, coaches and industrial engines to operators and companies in the UK.
 
They have entered into a contract with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) that will see the modernisation of part of the British Military’s fleet of logistic vehicles and the contract will deliver a new pallet and container loading system.

Monday - Friday:
 
Early Shift           06:00 – 14:30
Late Shift             15:30 – 22:00
 
Essential for this Auto Electrician role:
·Experience of stripping down chassis.
·F Gas (an advantage).
·Familiar with how wires work and how they have to be placed in a vehicle.
·Must be good at testing equipment and the computers used in mapping out electrical pathways and locating electronic problems or malfunctions in the system.
·You have to be able to dissemble, as well as correctly reassemble vehicle parts back together.
·You must be able to understand the equipment installed in each unit.
