My client is one of the largest independent commercial vehicle maintenance provider in the North West for all makes and types of commercial vehicles and LCVs.

I have an exciting new position for an Assistant Depot Manager for their Accident repair Centre

The ideal candidate will be taking on the role of Assistant Depot Manager and will be experienced in LGV and Commercial vehicle body work, working alongside the Repair Centre Manager.

You will be responsible for building relationships and liaising with insurance companies, suppliers and customers. This role will allow you to develop your existing skills.

Job Role of the Assistant Depot Manager
·You will be required to collate estimates on body repairs to accident damaged vehicles using the Audatex computerised estimating system.
·You will calculate the time required to complete all necessary repairs and inform the body shop of the authorisation of additional work needed.
·The sourcing of all parts for the jobs
·Following completion of the estimates, you will be required to negotiate the repair costs with insurance engineers and provide a breakdown of the repair costs for the customer.
·Constant professional communication with all customers
·Supervision of all staff on the workshop floor, ensuring all are productive
·Hands on the shop floor as and when required
